It’s taken me three years, but I’ve finally made my way back to Hong Kong, having just returned from a two week visit. I also paid a visit to the mainland, visiting the cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Xi’an, and travelling between them by high speed train.
This time I took 19,116 photos during my three weeks overseas – almost twice as many as my 2010 trip, or about the same as my month long visit to Europe in 2012.
Hopefully I’ll get all of my photos uploaded before my next overseas jaunt!

Mainland, well that will be interesting.
I managed to make my way across China with only a token amount of Mandarin – though I did stick to just the big cities.
